Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

Madrid welcomed religious, cultural and social voices to celebrate diversity and coexistence. The round table included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers offered reflections from faith, culture and public service on how education can reduce prejudice.

In the discussion, participants addressed themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on Scientology ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when supported by education and dialogue.
